BULLDOG NEWS is about ideas, people, and community. As our mission to inform spreads outward, we look for ways to enrich the community and the world we live in. And we're always looking for ways to bring new resources into the Bulldog.

Occasionally we host special events in the store. In July 2007 Seattle Storm women's basketball star forward and WNBA MVP, Lauren Jackson, spent an afternoon signing books, photos, basketballs, T-shirts, and caps for her fans.

In collaboration with our business partner, the fair-trade cooperative Equal Exchange, we've also had the pleasure of hosting presentations by coffee farmers from co-ops in Nicaragua and Mexico.
