BULLDOG NEWS provides volunteers for public service. From our tip funds, employees are paid their regular wages for time spent on projects. These may be individual projects, designed by the employee working through local non-profit organizations, or on-going company-wide projects

For several years we've partnered with the non-profit Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance, providing volunteers on market day. This organization has created viability for local farmers by developing neighborhood markets throughout the city.

In Spring of 2007 we began cleaning up Thornton Creek, the largest urban stream in Seattle, thru the auspices of the Creek Steward Program of the Seattle Public Utilities. In addition to hauling out a lot of garbage, we've weeded out invasive plants to give the native flora a better chance. There's still lots of work to do!
